This Land

As I stand here looking around this green forest I realize I don't feel like any tourist As I climb the mountains to the West I feel my heart swelling in my chest Oh! I love all of this land Created by God's own hand I feel ever so free- As tall as any tree When I hear the secrets whispered in the breeze Then all the longing in me begins to freeze I am filled with a most beautiful calm It's like I'm being held in life's great palm This is home for me- Here I can be free
