A Last Tear Drop

Are you gentle so as to hold my tears, yet strong  enough, to help me wear them? As pain leaks from my eyes, can you feel it and  not try to heal the hurt inside? These drops of pure emotion, that cleanse a soul in pain, can you understand the trust reguired, or the honor it involves....yet not lay blame? Would you stand there silently, with calm resolve, know the moment for its worth, with soft sure hand, walk me through a storm, worse than anything here on earth? With one deft touch, catch a last tear drop, balance it on  your hand, hold it there, for our memory, of a far and different man.
