Untitled2

My eyes grow heavy, weighing down their own gates, Retreating from an all too real world. Slowly, surely, I fall into myself like running water. Deeper and deeper I slip into an abyss as deep as a hope,  as shallow as the human mind. My body, a lump of coal slowly dissolving in a liquid dream, Eroding without the gravity of time, falls apart to the rhythm of my beating heart. A soul emerges, a secret gem inside us all that cannot inhale  The outside air for whether it is too sweet or too tainted with our own desires. Instead it breathes and survives on our ambitions, our aspirations. It lives ubiquitously in this world where pain is as intangible as taste,  Where love grows on trees watered by our own tears. Far from fantasy, it is the closet thing to reality. I want to be tired forever. I want to be able to plunge myself into this ocean,  Breathe fantasy into my lungs and swim as if to live unceasingly. Yet one day the soul will be left all alone, naked, exposed to the air,  Drowning in what supposedly keeps us alive; Ephemeral diamonds, crushed by the weight of the world.
