Reminiscing

You have really grown and it happened so fast, I think to myself as I reminince the past. I'll always remember  my excitement of joy as I held my first baby boy. Your face was so tiny with a cute stubby nose, I counted your fingers and kissed all your toes. You were crawling before I knew it I still see you taking your first step, running soon came after yes, these memories I have kept. And now as I look at you so handsome and tall, I feel a warmth on my heart as I remember this all.

Additional Notes:
I wrote this to my son alot of years ago, I did however change the 2nd stanza today for critiqing purposes. Please let me know which you like best......Thank you. I'll always remember when you first layed in my arms, no, I'll never forget the joy, the sensations my body felt as I held my first baby boy.
