Asylum Of Mankind

Where, O freedom, have you fled?  You're hunted 'round the globe. All countries have expelled you, Europe's "stranger"; England's "robe" Has given you a warning to depart and not return. Asylum of mankind, America, to you we turn! "Novus Ordo Seclorum" now appears upon your Seal. Once purchased by much precious blood, a broken law to heal, The Declaration of Independence and Constitution state The principles, specific provisions, all men need to be great. O freedom, promulgated by your Declaration made In heaven, ratified on earth by blood, both nobly paid And freely given, it is sad you are by fools replaced With vices, avarice, and greed - cast down, defiled, disgraced! Though you now hide your face in shame, there soon will come a time When you will be enthroned again, by men who are divine And worthy of the blessings now all fools hold in contempt. Then Christ, the rightful King, will reign...when all His wrath is spent!
