Crystal Vials

"Put thou my tears into thy bottle:  are they not in thy book"  Ps 56:8       In silent agony, I weep,        until pools of emotion        muddy the path of my life. So many hurts pierce deeply into the skin of my soul, releasing a blood of salty tears...gushing waterfalls of pain. Exhausted by empty doubt, I lay at your feet, Lord, resting in the steady hope of your unfailing promises. I see a vision...a crystal vial, sitting near Your Throne, filled with precious liquid...bottled by a God Who sees all. Angels carefully catch each teardrop as it falls,  carrying the springs of my heart...a lifetime of emotion,  stored in a delicate, graceful container. The beauty of Your Love has formed an exquisite vessel,  faceted in finest-cut crystal, for each of Your children, holding the mixed nectar of all our dreams and fears. The essence of our existence...flowing from eyes of mortality, ever reminds a Loving Father of His Perfect Covenant, signed in the eternal blood of Your beloved Son.
