June Fifteenth Ninety Ninety His approach is relentless. He will arrive on schedule With no regard for yours or mine. He travels lightly Yet with heavy step, Sure of his journey, Knowing he will arrive on time. And when at last he shows, We can only feign indifference. But of course any fool can tell We are not prepared. For hearts were not designed With this in mind And yet they must endure, "Farewell". |
