Being You

If I could only tell you      of just this one and only thing It would be to tell you of the happiness      which to my life you bring. Now not because of your glowing smile      or your beautifully dazzling eyes, And not because of your tender heart      and what it does comprise; But because you've managed to show me      that someone else can share- That someone else is in this world      who's not afraid to care. And in this way you've helped me      even more than you could know Simply because you're that type of person      who's kindness isn't show.
