Teri's hazel eyes.......

Look deep into her smiling hazel eyes and hearken if you can, to what they say: Their glint may host an elfish, playful air... but never mix this up with naivete'. To me they speak of caution and concern - allotting easement to a very few. If one gets close enough to touch her heart... there'll be some fit-and-worthy tests to do. And when her eyes are passive it is clear, how independent she has grown to be: The wisdom that she's gained these recent years, grants her the resoluteness of the sea. While self-assurance haunts these sparkling orbs humility takes backseat to her pride; She cares naught what the others choose to think; with strength/determination, on her side. When challenged I'd suspect a serious gaze; displacing spark - with meditative glare. Although their color's pretty as before... a narrowing occurs that binds her stare. These eyes might say: "You'd best not mess with me; lest wrath of hidden powers you incite!" The searing of one's flesh could supervene... subjected to the laser of these lights. If sadness, pain or yearning doeth arise; it seems their beauty kindles to new height. Now moistened to a liquid car'mel hue; darker, deeper - magnified in size. They talk of fixed compassion and of goals: Of real hope for better times ahead. The voice of her soul slipped through her eyes; and lucky me heard some...of what it said.
