How So Cruel How: -With my trust so freely given, My heart so greatly yours Could you reject all my love, Respond with cold locked doors? -With all those memories we had Of dreams we shared as one Could you leave me here alone, My life is so undone? I felt that what we had was true- That it would always be us two. So as you leave me here to cry, Remember it was not I who said Good-bye. Christopher T. Moore January 5, 1989 |
