Delusions

I’ve created them, My perfect delusions. I revel in them. It seems I’m prisoner  Of my thoughts, My minds reality. The delusions take over. Erupting from within With a fury.  Waves of things created  Overtaking me. I willingly allow it. I search for rational thought. But reality is ashes in the wake Of these perfect delusions. The truth is exposed It flows freely, But yet is ignored. Surely I’ll be scorched. Left smoldering in the embers Of these delusions I’ve created.
