I Understand Now As I lay here in the silence nothing to hold but my thoughts of you I understand now that very sacred meaning of a love that is so devotedly true. To experience the lonely aching that I feel deep in my heart; A pain I have never felt before but that I feel as we're now apart. The tears that are building behind my eyes yearning so much for your gentle stare, Will find no comfort on my cheek in search of your warmth, they'll sadly find it nowhere. My arms how they stretch so outwardly trying to find you within their reach... Nothing but the cold will they grasp as to the night they can only beseech. I Understand Now that very sacred meaning of a love that is so very truly sincere. For you I would lay my life down and die... for you are that part of my heart which I do hold the most dear.
