Window Of Dreams

I sat down underneath that tree, Caressed by a warm summer breeze. Closing my eyes, I found myself Gazing out through the window of dreams. My body (getting lighter now), Gently carried by the breeze - Ascending towards an azure sky, Rises up above the trees. A winged horse, my mount appears, Emerging from a cloud. Soft light reveals the forest below, Veiled in a mystical shroud. Faeries lift their starry wands, Pointing out across the land - Creating luminous rainbows with A single wave of their hand. Playfully dancing in peaceful bliss, Absorbing the wonderous sight. Soaring through enchanted lands, Enjoying formless flight. From that distant place I strain to see, Out there, underneath that tree - A child sits, looking back at me, Gazing out through the window of dreams.

Additional Notes:
The rhyming of sound rather than words is intentional to maintain the childlike perspective of this piece. "Faeries" is spelled in "celtic" form to further inhance the mystical aspects of the poem. Thank you all for you proir help and suggestions in creating this work. :)
