WILLY NILLY SILLY LILY

Psalm
The Son shined down much love.  The Father rained down such grace. This Lily of the Valley now  opens up to face  Exposure to the elements of stark shame and ignoble disgrace.   Though the outer beauty fades,  the inner glory is not effaced. (Even though devilish winds of that nefarious fallen angel  In his typhoon-like bane make life at times very painful)  For though the storming may strip me of a pristine petal, I will not shrink back.   My stalk is godly metal,  But even if death's sickle cuts me off right at the stem,  It won't impede the gospel's work that was begun by Him.   For the Holy Spirit has blown Those sacred seeds to ground His own.  And the many lily's glory will surpass , What my only one flower ever could.  So what the tempest's darkness meant for bad,  The Light of the World will use for good!

Additional Notes:
THE TITLE IS AN ALMOST COMPLETE NON SEQUITER TO THE ESSENCE OF THE POEM. IT WAS MERELY A LYRICAL, WHIMSICAL CATCHY PHRASE TO GET YOUR ATTENTION FROM A LONG LIST OF MANY POEMS IN HOPES THE TRICKLY TITLE WOULD LEAD YOU ,PERHAPS BEGUILINGLY, TO A POINT OF INSPIRATION.
