GOGH STARRY

Vincent, your awesome starry night      Inspired a Chicago kid's fight Vincent, your mystical starry craze      Helped a tortured soul countless "daze" Vincent, your melancholy had a deep impact      Rescued a scarred scout---that's a fact Vincent, your tragic end reaches      School kids this educator teaches Vincent, your life I celebrate      Intolerable suffering shouldn't have been your fate Vincent, your self-inflicted amputation      Sign of a struggle for one man's liberation Vincent, your honor illustrated in a song      Soothing Don McLean and this poet so long... UNDER THE STARS-----RIP----VINCENT VAN GOGH      ETERNAL GRATITUDE
