To...

At dusk when the dim light falls soft, and waves sigh in white foaming bars their hushed song upon the stretching sand, Here I watch the moon rise aloft, feel the constancy of the stars, wonder at heaven's scope o'er the land. Nature's symmetry, for our care, is tender like a mother's love and sets firm our task of beauty here. Dear friend, Nature's handmaid and heir, in you such beauty fosters our love, a law for our hearts which you live so dear.
