The Word Of The Lord

The word of the Lord Is the purest of all Whiter than snow Descending in the fall. The word of the Lord Like silver tried by fire Emerges unscathed Complete and entire. When afflictions abound Your soul longs for peace The Lord will then arise And give sweet release. The Lord will keep you Preserve you forever Set you in safety He will not sever. The word of the Lord  Is utterly blameless Never will it fail With promises so endless. The word of the Lord Is solid as rock A tower of strength Right around the clock. The Lord will gird you And strengthen your heart Be your shield and refuge You will never be apart. He will enlarge your steps Give strength to your feet All the days of your life Until in heaven you meet. The word of the Lord  Is truthfully spoken Through all of the ages Has never been broken. The word of the Lord Is like a great light Never extinguished God is not finite. The Lord will remember The word He gives you In which you have hope For His word is true. He illumines your path His words are the lamp Will lead you safely Right into His camp. The word of the Lord Is not like the grass Or the flower that fades When evening comes to pass. The word of the Lord  Forever will stand For ultimate power Is in His right hand. When life becomes weary Burdens heavy to bear The Lord will uphold you He will always be there. The everlasting God Will never let you go As love from the heavens Will always grip your soul.
