The Hovering Lord

This is what the Lord Says when I stumble Words of promise and comfort When I begin to crumble. As a great lion growls Who has just caught his prey Victorious in his catch Growls of trumph his say. Though a band of shepherds Clamor against my being No fright from their shouts No fear in what I'm seeing. He, who rules over all Devours them as prey Hovering over all enemies Almighty power on display. The Lord God Almighty Will battle on Mount Zion He will reign on it's heights For He is the Great Lion. Like hovering birds above The Almighty will shield Jerusalem, 'His people', Whether in city or field. He will shield and deliver You each and every time Rescue you from all evil Because He says, 'you are Mine'!

Additional Notes:
During the month of July, 1991(just last month) I was getting very sick off and on. Getting words of support and encouragment are always very helpful especially when your so sick you feel like your going to die as I did. They found out it was my gallbladder which was a big one so I got the big cut. That was about 3 weeks ago and I certainly feel better now.The words above are based on the Old Testament passage taken from Isaiah 31:4-5. For me I found these words of great comfort as expressed in this poem which was written during this period of time.
