A MEMORY A recollection of time gone by, Things that used to be. Thoughts that drift to yesterday, That's a memory. Some memories may bring a smile, While others may bring tears. Some memories can't be forgot, And linger through the years. Memories of friends we may never see again, And thoughts of an innocent time. Some memories are secrets kept deep in our heart, Those are sometimes the sweetest of kind. Times are forever changing, That's the way it's always been. But thanks to our memories, We can remember when. LORA LONG |
