The Union Machine

Opposites united  divide into a pair.  Perfectly performing  punctual parades  of normalacy.  Societal edicts  demand dollar's due.  An essence of ancient gathering efforts  modernized, mechanized,  madly deified.  The effort  erodes eternal union,  corroding the gears.  Strain appears, argumentative  and taut.  Marital machines  like great steel automations  gather dust,  unoiled by attention's suitor,  will rust.  Decay draws one  last destructive breath.  Relief travels miles rendering  an eternal union repaired.  Rusted edges of the heart burnished bright.  August 2001
