Arrival Instinct

Determined flattened low against pink morning clouds freedom flies perpendicular to the finery of autumn's attire. Weather vane trees point upwards like arrows festooned with quivering red parchment. In flight trumpets release arrival calls accentuated  in V-shaped harmony. Geometrical precision a momentary point on the horizon like sharpened points propelled by a hunter's bow. Beady coal eyes top off dark bellowing beaks Arriving yet again instinctual upon ancestral migrant land warmed by gulf winds and feathered sighs.
