It Is Not The Same

I challenge the light That affords my eyes The sight that gives me vision. It is not the same That reflects the image To see what God is showing. I listen intently To the voice My ears discern acutely. It is not the same That echoes the sound To hear what God is saying. I sense in earnest To feel the love My heart needs to survive. It is not the same That perceives the emotion To touch what God is feeling. I try so hard To play this life, My thoughts are so disturbed. It is not the same That penetrates the truth To know what God is thinking.
