Evil Overcome

Faded shadows cast cloudy light on my lingering soul, discerning former evil once again showing it’s ugly face. Lost at former times now forging through new facets, inflamed with the fragmentation of numerous lost lives. Evil’s not formed in association with a specific race or creed, it’s created by consternation enclosed with unlit corruption. Occupied with hatred, intolerant of those who won’t belong, destroying without conscious nor fundamental perceptions. When asking why I was tortured of years gone by, now perceiving there’s no answer as darkness can’t speak. It shrouds and it saunters waiting to cast twisted spears, there is no comprehension of reason that we could accept. Our country joined together evoked by evil’s destruction, each intensely focused in rebuilding what was destroyed. Life taken years ago with introspection now renewed, looking upon so many now gone not given this chance. Forging on with this struggle amid corruption and humiliation, I will proceed confronting darkness and decree to overcome. Fresh strength now supplied to represent righteousness, corrupt obscurity destroyed as we advance with limited fear.
