realism

found my life in cardboard houses dumpsters  trash pins turn to kingdoms and I'm digging sin under the nails in tar treasure hunter Camelot for grown ups who don't dream Kodiak majick without the nostalgia no hushes no crowds to appreciate the world moves on in gray fumes and traffic stops while genetic engineers create the 4 horsemen "Behold I saw" behold I saw a liquor store with angels and demons conversing on veiny concrete barstools without the spin head downcast to ground where we all come from to which we will return and some stay there meditating on shattered glass and unrealistic plans past made past and future providing the same outcome rolling pebbles like they were philosophers stones gaining no moss nothing to learn from beyond this I can't blame them for that As I drive by with my to go order 6pack of Bass on the passengers seat not taking the time to contemplate cuz I know I'd be overwhelmed windows you can turn away from close the blinds return to carpeted floors that provide no comfort no true difference from the rocks I've chose to sleep on earthen pillows broken terracotta blankets from plants that never grew to full potential any similarities there? funhouse mirror reflections? no I see straight No regrets NO REGRETS
