The Wings of My Soul

I wonder if ever  I shall know the freedom of flight as a dove in this vast sky. To let my soul be free from the confinement of my body. I will sit by my windowsill to watch in glory  my soul take flight into the night sky away from its physical form light as a balloon  escaping from the hands of a child. Oh shall my soul tear open its wings  just for this single night to simply mingle with the stars and moon  till the morning sun araises again. Give me this freedom tonight for I shall return to that prison  which is my confinement and armor to this world.
