An Inward Journey

Blindly I walk in darkness for it's courage I truly seek Once again be my own person overcome the times I'm weak In the distance a shadow a silhouette in faded light An old woman boldly smiling she quickly vanishes from sight Suddenly I hear sweet music deep inside my very soul I found what I am after at last achieved my final goal The vision is clear to me my strength has been within My inward journey satisfied there is no battle I can't win.
