FAR AWAY BACK It's time to come out Out from my skin, make a turn-about I'll start at my toes, and over my head Pull my skin over until I am red. You see - I've got to change. I'll leave the North, the prairie, the range Gotta go where the mountains ain't so high Down to the sea is where I will fly Where there's sun and surf and the ocean roils This is where I belong, and so does my soul I can't tell you the feeling, and how far I've roamed The sun and the ocean is what I'll call home. |
