For Love of Flora Fern was a whisper and soft caress. Dearest Daisy was the morning light. Sweet scented Heather did fill my breast, While blue Violet stole tears at night. And though Iris is love still lasting, And in Ivy ‘twined I cannot part, ‘Tis Lilly who will mourn my passing, But ‘twas darling Rose who stole my heart. |
