Potter's Wheel

You took me into your callused hands Warmed me, and made me pliant gently you lay me upon your wheel But then it began... I was spinning out of control The noise hurt my ears I was paralyzed with fear  I was unbalanced, ugly and blemished torn away from my safety zone I was thrashing back and forth The fear both exhilarating and frightening You held me firm and safe bathed me in warm water My thirst was quenched, my lips moistened Again, I was safe and comforted Soon the dizziness went away I was no longer fearful in your hands You hummed songs of love to me Soon I feel asleep As I dreamed of the possibilities You continued to be patient and soothing Massaging me between your hands Kneading the materpiece forth Abruptly, the wheel stopped Your warm hands lefted me and coaxed that I stand alone I struggled forth without fear or assistance There we beheld the transformation in each of us

Additional Notes:
I left out most punctuation on purpose. It simply felt right to me to leave it out.
