Through Heaven's Eyes

Do cold chills race both up and down your spine when you reflect Upon reactions from your spouse - when you get no respect For intimate and tender feelings shared?  Have you refused To trust because you are afraid... perhaps have been abused? The quality of sensitivity, developed when Men stop to truly listen... with their heart and soul, and then Gain self-control BEFORE expecting something in return, Becomes a deeper and more sacred love for which all yearn. To "bribe", "embarrass", "threaten" to make changes always works AGAINST the goal desired.  Failure, thus inherent, lurks. The more men talk, the less wives seem to hear, and the result? A wall of deep resentment, and it is the husband's fault. Truth should not be taught when listeners are uninterested. Before a spouse says anything, he should change first instead Of finding fault, complaining things aren't done... start doing more To decrease strain and work-load on his wife.  That is the core. BE the example you would see in her.  She will respond In kind and love you more for it.  Yet some expect her fond Embrace after they criticize, reducing her to tears! Such actions only deepen wounds and reinforce her fears. Get her attention, share your feelings, gaining her respect By daily acts of kindness.  In this way you won't neglect To see her as your soul-mate, gentle, loving, tender, wise, And will become what God intended... seen through heaven's eyes.
