Art and song

Born the son of a millworker his father who sang the blues  a roller coaster of happiness he learned to accept the news.  Small in a world of giants He searched for a way to fit in. Drugs and alcohol art and song which was right which was wrong, A little of both the ride seemed to coast. The law had a say in the way he would play; He searched to find a better way. A girl he would meet in his heart she grew sweet .  A mill worker too he fathered a few. The road it was rough the man he was tough. He found a rhyme in his acceptance of time, he wrote a verse or two. Drugs and alcohol art and song he lost that girl it felt so wrong.  Alone in the world a weekend Daddy he played. Denial and regret it was not over yet. He search and he wondered, who he was he pondered, Art and song it could not be wrong.
