THE TRIAL (revised)

After years of hiding the sequestered hate, for men who raped and tortured my fate. Staunch struggles of loss I had to accept, yet hope still whispered “you’ll find respect”. Castles once built were destroyed with rage, the golden road was snared from my page.  Disclosed ghosts of dreamy make-believe, changed my story when I was deceived. When love was the center hatred found its abode, averse inclinations were caught and bestowed. This battle ensued as I struggled to deny, the woman I perceived was a deception of a lie. Maneuvered by fear occupied with need, pursued by dread honor desires to concede. Screaming in my mind and longing to be free, this seasoned grief caused by evil’s revelry. Robbed of the mantle envisioned as a child, accusations of charges have been compiled. A trial will be held even though it's been years, with limitless precision truth finally appears.
