Ode to Block

Her hair is red, her eyes are brown, she lives in a big trailer. She walks and works just like a nurse, but talks just like a sailor. She's cool and calm, she's like a balm when dealing with her patients, but watch her claws and watch her jaws when she becomes impatient. She's got nurse looks and knows her books she's quick with all the labs. But hear her lingo when she plays bingo  and when she plays pull-tabs! She passes meds, she changes beds, she is a whiz at charts. But watch your back, she might attack when you bring in food carts. She'll get their goat with Depakote, she'll check their pulse and pressure. They won't be mean with Thorazine that she might even measure! She's smooth and cool, she's been to school, she's even been to college. She learned the ropes and now she hopes that she can use her knowledge. She's such a smarty, she wrecked our party, she thinks she's really hot. She packed her baggage, her tail is waggage, she quit and we did not!

Additional Notes:
This was a going away gift for an RN friend at the State Hospital who left for a better job. Please be patient with my "loose use" of the language!
