my leap ever upward

wishing to play catch with the bright ball of sunshine to hug in the warmth to shine the merely me as one who matters to whirl in the breeze dance in shalom soft rain deeply laugh in your presence the airy freshness extends your simple for-always invitation to be the somebody I am: your joy and beloved and to freely toss your sunshine gifts as shiny bright confetti then excitedly to gather up only to scatter new and anew Oh, teach me how. Am I not yet ready? I yield my stiff self, God, To your tickle of Love.

Additional Notes:
The structure and punctuation of the final verse is intentionally different from the rest of the poem. The wistful daydreaming gives rise to a prayer. "My Leap Ever Upward" was submitted long ago. With a few changes, I re-submit it now, and appreciate any added feedback on it. Thanks.
