Al's Ark

Al’s building an ark And we’re all invited I can’t speak for you But I’m sure excited The planning’s been done With his guests’ needs in mind The slots are on first deck For those so inclined And video poker With chairs that are plush While you seek the big one That sweet Royal Flush The best of buffets Is available too With food from all nations Just to please you The exercise room Is so liberally stocked Keep fit on the bench-press The bike—or just walk Poetry classes  On Borderline Crap Are conveniently scheduled After your nap And if you do well With the borderline stuff Then Pure Crap is next For the seasoned and tough A ballroom for dancing A pool for a dip A health bar with juices To talk while you sip Open-air tennis Instructors on hand Massages for muscles Al’s got it planned Day care for wee ones The best kind of care Crafts for the older kids Everything’s there Spotless, clean kennels For four-footed guests Dogs, cats and gerbils And all of the rest This journey of yours Could last 40 days And could change your life In a number of ways And when at long last The white dove comes back With a green olive branch From Mt. Ararat Don’t get out of sorts About which way is home Just dial up a friend On your tiny cell phone And when you get back Every Suzie and Sal Will be writing Pure Crap About six weeks with Al

Additional Notes:
Those of you who read the forum know Al Hamblen is building an ark, because his town is flooding. Those of you who have read his profile know he claims to write borderline crap to pure crap. All I've done is just make some fun out of this.
