I Called

I called and you came. How did I know you would? Though years have seperated our touching, when my soul moaned you were suddenly and wholly here. What wonders are there in heaven that closes doors  and opens others?  What magic is in the universe that allows memory to continue uninterupted by time or circumstance or space? My call was not a shout it was not words even formed. I hardly even knew  it was you that I was calling, yet you came and the chasm filled. "I am here" you murmered, and all of me leaned into the words. Aching paused, joy breathed, inspiration unfurled its wings. Once more I smile, as the warrior and the healer touch.
