SUMMERTIME

Sunshine's searing, scorching rays   Undulating, hovering haze     Misery months of mosquitoes and flies       Melting  resolve as mercuries rise         Ennui envelopes all outside activity           Rain's ravage raises relative humidity             Thunderstorms tear through electric wires                Increasing incidence of forest fires                  Make me wistful for cool, autumn skies                    Equatorial heat, you're Hades' disguise.

Additional Notes:
Here in the Deep South even a-c doesn't always help, but couldn't live without it...can't go out due to health hazard warnings for days now--Just another ACROSTIC to add to the month's list....thought I would try one for myself...
