Dreams On a cold and stormy night I fell asleep on my bed, I went to sleep so fast like I was knocked on my head. A few moments went by Then I woke in a tree, I fell to the ground busting my knee. I closed my eyes to ease the pain, Next thing I knew I was riding a train. Not knowing where I was I jumped to my feet, My knee wasn't hurting I was healed complete. I got off the train in some rugged old city, There were bums in the street so many to pity. I asked a man where I was at, He pulled from his coat a Louisville bat. Swinging so hard he hit my head, Knocked out cold he thought I was dead. My eyes blinked I wasn't believing, I thought I was gone, but I was just dreaming. |
