A NEW DAWN

Home alone on an intense rainy day craving for quiet to reflect and survey. Observing myself, absorbed as ever inept to be dormant in this endeavor. I conclude I’m frightened to merely sit emotions will rise, what will emit? What would I do and whom could I seek? All alone in this house if I became weak?  Frightened to find my intrinsic self is there dread taken off memory’s shelf? Uncertainty within yet sanctioned to know will I succeed to observe a new plateau? As others, I desire to truly be free yearning to treasure whatever is me. I stop, I listen, is it voices I hear? Or just old memories, I now see clear? Peace within is what I honestly pursue only I can find me and discern what is true. Compassion and relief from God up above shine down on me, a new dawn with love.
