Coming Back To "The Haight" This is not my neighborhood now. Twenty years has taken me very far from here, And keeping a personal vow I came back, but fearing a change of atmosphere I approached it so cautiously That this old sidewalk didn't recognize my feet. But it hadn't changed, not to me. You should have seen the way I use to walk this street. |
