I Wish I Was In Love With Annie | Rick Barnes | AWW, all right, here's the deffective girl attempting to post a decent critique on your poem. The people here all sound like mature, intelligent adults...intimidating lol. But anyway, back to the poem, I thought this was brilliant, sweet and cute in its stark simplicity. Sort of like childhood unrequited love, except you weren't really in love. Of course there's always that underlying meaning to every phrase, that I, in my paranoia and thirst to understand, always wonder about. Maybe it's all just simple: she's cute but...you're in love with her. A lot of things. Makes my head spin [but in a good way]. Anyway, this was really cute and just...youthful because of how simple it was, yet the meaning isn't entirely plain. Or that's probably because I'm stupid. :) Nevertheless, I enjoyed this. Good piece. Thanks for introducing me to this site, Eddie Okay...I just read the Critiquer Rules and I'm scared...lol. Points of excellence: the simplicity, it was cute. Errors: None. Suggestions: ...none. I hope this place isn't too strict. At least I know I won't be posting crap like "Great piece, keep writing!". Ugh. | 2003-10-20 01:44:59 |
