64 years ago I began my adventure on this planet --- What a blast so far. In that time I have pursued many careers, always curious, never satisfied. I have loved my exploration most of the time, hated it some of the time, been ashamed of it on occasion, and dissatisfied with it always --- I’ve lived.
My wife and I exchanged vows on March 11, 1959. I’ve fathered 5 children and watched them grow, succeed as individuals, and reward me with 11 grandchildren. I turn back, a quick glance over my shoulder, I swear this all happened yesterday. For here, inside, with the pulsing of my spirit I’m still young, strong, incredibly handsome, and full of dreams.
My education is ongoing, a daily circumstance provided by the College of Experience and Hard Knocks. The curriculum offered is unforgiving; failure is not an option. I expect to receive my PhD at midnight on a golf course chosen by my sons. We’ll forgo the cap and gown as they scatter the ash of this flesh bound container. (No sand traps or water hazards boys --- Or suffer my wrath.)
