I was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois. My husband and I have lived in Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, New Mexico, California, Michigan and North Carolina. I returned to being a full-time
writer in 1990, primarily fiction. I have just finished a first novel.
Have studied poetry for years, but began to work more earnestly in this genre in 1996 after moving to Ojai, California. We have an excellent workshop here, but there is nothing like the immediate feedback the Link provides. I am very responsive to comments regarding my work and value an
honest reaction. You will not hurt my feelings unless you let me think something is good when
it is poorly conceived or poorly written. I need your objectivity. Thanks!
