I've been seriously writing poetry since 1973, and am constantly amazed at the countless styles and subjects all poets capture in their writing lifetime! I find isnpiration in all walks of life...all people..and animals...
My poetry has often been described as a painting with words and images. I guess I formed my style from admiring Robert Frost, Edgar Alan Poe, and e.e.cummings. I love to read different styles of poems from different poets and learn from each poem and poet I read. I think I learn the most each day from my four feline kids...Precious, the unofficial Grandma who has shared my life for seven years, Princess, my mama daughter, and her two kids Reddy, my loving boy kitten, and his sister Patches who is "Daddy's Little Girl"! This little family teaches me daily about unconditional love!
