We collectively want one vote, and so I give my one vote. The will of the majority prevails.  As to "reasons" for my selections: the main value of giving reasons during the voting period is for purposes of constructive discussion as to merits to lead to consensus. Since we're "one voting" it in our little personal vacuums, I see no reason to give reasons for my selections at this time. We value, for voting purposes, apparently, the hermetically sealed laboratory version of each member's preferences. Well, here my are. The other value to giving reasons is educational: heightening our sense of aesthetic merit by exercising our faculty to perceive beauty and analyzing that faculty - so that we may collectively honor our language's best flights of verbal fancy. As to this value, when the "reasons" are given doesn't matter, but that they are given. To the extent that I haven't given reasons in my critiques, I will endeavor to comment on my vote and why in more detail over the coming month, thereby serving the "other" purpose of giving reasons, which is not time-bound.  MSS

Just when you think you've got it all covered, someone goes and changes the rules. Good choices, excellent picks - realizing you can't vote for yourself, I like the poems you voted on. One vote, on the 6th right, this time my failing brain cells will have to remember to include the points given, because the glitch with me voting properly is still happening. Best of luck to you in March, and off to critique, blessings, Deni
