Woes I Left I flew away on angel wings one night And left my troubles tied in ribbon’s gold. The echoed stars held me in beauty’s light. To soar among the heavens’ silent fold. All woes I left behind to weep alone; They hurt my tender heart too many times And turned my painful soul to solid stone, Without a single care for whispered rhymes. A life with heavy sorrow dies in air When wafting high where tiny sparrows sing. My open fingers catch the moon with flair, While angel’s harp with strings of silver rings. About you lie the dreams that sweetly glide, Above the cares erased with silent pride. |

Very unique Cheyenne, the style of this poem brings out the heavenly tones - with angels, and emotional pain as the center of the piece. A lot of thoughts given to this piece, as dignity and pride, were hurt - yet now erased and sent away.
Another well crafted poem, with imagery, imagination and good choice of words - that allow the reader time, to enjoy and take in the moment with the writer.
I like it,
blessings,
Deni
