I Would Do It Again - And Again - And Again

Billions of lives,    billions to die,    billions of confused souls living by the by. All start, and stop at different times. This book was born in nineteen fifty-five, exposed to her in fourteen years as it came alive. Pages of love in youth sincere stitched together seemed all so clear. “How could a babe feel love at this age?” and not veer away as the pages were frayed. Flits to frailty countless years to come her half lit heart was meant for one. United by blessings more certain than timeless skies her moon hit the dust with hellish unmerciful cries. Air could not be â€“ for to breathe it she would need him. No where was he to be found, bad boys know where to go when they can’t stay around. Lusting for more than he had onward he went not knowing  how she anguished till dawn opening a throttle of her spent. Only half a book but filled with sighs, loneliness loaded with lies, children by her side. This is the end,  this is where she can not cry  he would never know for him she would have happily died.

Hi Deni, There is so much melancholy in this write. Not only that but I feel the regret and deep emotions that lace the lines. When we are young and fall in love we think it will be forever, unaware that nothing lasts that long. If the love is not returned or the one we love takes a hike the devastation is profound and all consuming. Sometimes our best poems come from our life experiences. They (who ever they are) say it's better to love and lose than not to love at all. Well done. Best wishes, cheyenne
