The Boss George Steinbrenner (1930-2010) there was no Clipper on the horizon; the only Micks were Irishmen; the only Sultan was Turk and though Bobby Murcer was Caesar (to me, and the loyal legion of Rome) as Yogi or Casey said, winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing and while Billy was right, the one was born liar, the other convicted Reggie begot Reggie (before the Infidel’s Manny begot Manny) and so it becameth thus, as thus it becometh: The Pinstripes were The Pinstripes, The Boss was Boss. |

Nicely written tribute to one outstanding sports figure - I wish my critique could do justice to your write - but I'm not a fan of sports - but I agree he was "The Boss" and a well known figure in all of his endeavors with his passion in life.
blessings,
Deni
