Allow Me

Allow me to stare into the abyss of your nature to know the savage of your reason to ravel in the unbalance of your logic to love you in your strangest season   Allow me to align my heart too better know your soul From ending to start all of you to know Allow me the privilege of simply holding your hand For you are the ocean  And I, the sand

Nice! A rhyming poem from you is unusual. I love this! Every stanza is so perfectly worded and the imagery is astounding. I think this is one of your more carefully crafted poems and the effort is very much appreciated. Keep 'em coming and "Allow Me" the pleasure of reading more! :)

Bravo- And I, the sand,...... Bravo. I haven’t much to say but such. The “abyss of your nature” how exaquisite a thought, a phrase. S1L3 I’d use “imbalance” Wonderfully said, “to love you in your strangest season” – wish I had written it, worth the page to reread many times. It would be a dogeared reference in my poetry book. “from ending to start” how exquisite again. Bravo Joe, Bravo!
