Captured Memories Moment to moment Thoughts of the past Memories today Will they last? Roses in the fields Swaying in the wind Petals will drop For new buds to begin. Up goes a balloon The little boy's sad I watched for a moment Lose the smile that he had. A tree caught my eye As I saw a leaf fall And the clouds in the sky Captured this all. Memories, like roses Swaying in the wind Come back to life As they rebud again. |
